As seen on the PBS “The Joy of Painting” Program, the Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet Technique is easy to learn, even for beginners. You will be able to complete an entire oil painting in just one class. This method leads you step by step into the wonderful world of art.
You will arrive at my home studio in West Linn where we will spend the next 3 to 4 hours painting a preselected painting as a group. I will teach you this painting step-by-step (you paint along with me) and provide all the necessary supplies; including a 11x14 stretched canvas, Bob Ross paints, use of brushes, and a box to safely ship your wet painting home.
Other things to note
Your paintings will take about 3 weeks to dry. We will secure your painting by stapling it in a pizza box so that you can safely carry it home. Shipping is provided for an additional charge.

I am a Certified Bob Ross Instructor and artist. I have 8 years experience teaching the Bob Ross Wet-On-Wet Oil Painting Technique; specializing in landscapes, seascapes, and florals. I have been painting Bob Ross style paintings since I was a little girl and I teach out of my home studio as well as other arts centers in the area.

I really enjoyed learning to do an oil painting from True using the Bob Ross method. Seemed easy and the picture looked quite good. True is quite nice and welcoming and really loves the art world. Recommend for a fun and rewarding learning experience.

True was so kind and knowledgeable. I kept thinking I had ruined my painting- and she would suggest a slight change in my pressure or amount of paint and it would magically work better! I created something I’m proud of and will happily display in my home!

This was a great experience! I can’t believe she helped us get through an entire painting in such a short class time- True was extremely generous with her time while being respectful of ours, as well. She was patient with our questions and has a true passion for the Bob Ross painting technique. It was great to see how she has turned a true passion into something that she can profit from financially and in turn spark and inspire creativity in others, as well! I highly recommend this class!

I traveled to Portland for a unique getaway weekend and True's paint class made my experience even more special. True was super friendly and greeted us at the front of her house to walk us back to her art studio. It was my first paint class and even though I was nervous, I was comfortable with True. She provided all of the materials and her step-by-step visual instructions were simple to follow. She was engaged with the class moving around and checking in to see if we needed any help and to praise our coming along paintings. I wish I lived nearby so I could continue to attend her classes and learn how to paint a new landscape. I am super happy I got to bring my painting home with me as a beautiful reminder of a wonderful class and weekend.
