Why a fresh pasta class? Because it's healthy and fun! And at home you can use the flour you like, even gluten free! In this class you will learn how to make at home tagliatelle and lasagne .... it's an experience! You can't miss it! On a typical lesson day we meet in the morning in our professional school kitchen, placed in a lovely bistrot just outside Ortigia, where we prepare fresh pasta, learning the techniques and tricks needed to recreate it when you return home. Recipes are made using local and seasonal ingredients (changes can be made for individuals with specific dietary requirements where appropriate). and could be turned glutenfree, lactose free, alcool free, and vegan, when previously agreed . After the lesson we can sit down together to enjoy the fruits of our labour along with a glass of selected Sicilian wine rounded off with some coffee!
I am an Italian chef of long experience. I had a restaurant for years that gave me great satisfaction and now I work as a teacher of Italian cuisine even abroad. Married to a Syracusan, in the summer, every year I am in Ortigia to teach my kitchen, my tricks and share my skills. Everything we do can be easily replicated at home! During my lesson, based on the philosophy of the short chain and attention to the quality of the raw material, you will learn and have fun in a professional and relaxed environment!
The lesson always includes a very nice lunch with the tasting of what have been prepared together with a good sicilian…

On a typical lesson day we meet in our professional school kitchen, placed in a lovely bistrot just outside Ortigia, we visit the Ortigia Food Market and go back to our restaurant where you make our hand made pasta, learning the techniques and tricks needed to recreate it when you return home.
The class always includes a light lunch with the tasting of what we have prepared together with a good sicilian glass of wine!
