First we will meet by the Greeting to the Sun and the Sea organ and see these modern attractions of Zadar. Then we will walk along the promenade and discuss the historical aspects of Zadar on the Roman Forum. After this, we will talk about something that is often overlooked, but greatly influenced the city - communism. We will learn about brutalism- an architectural style typical of Yugoslavia. We discuss how Tito's partisans saved the city and how he became a cult of personality. We take a little break from communism and explore the medieval part of town, meandering around the episcopal center. We derail from a standard city tours and see the last monument to communism that remains in the city and go back to the story of Yugoslavia and life during that period. After a short discussion, we head down to the main square and continue to the five wells to learn how the city survived the Ottoman siege. We finish the walking part of out tour in a park, overlooking the Land gate. Finally, we head off to a quiet café, have a drink and your guide will share even more fascinating details about communism and some personal stories; and you have a chance to a ask as many questions as you like.
We are a group of fairly young tour guides with over 10 years of experience. My partners and I started as the youngest guides in our city and have worked diligently on improving our guiding skills. We worked for countless companies, both local and international. We didn't want Croatia to be just a footnote in the world of travel, so we decided to start our own company and create truly memorable tours. Join us and fall in love with Croatia! Team: Maja Gelemanovic Iva Zaplatic Anita Roncevic Hrvoje Sarun Iva Cotric Tanja Zilic Lucia Versic

We are going to walk on a flat surface most of the time, but we are doing about 50 or so steps during the course of our tour.
