Discover the delicious mom-and-pop shops of this local Brooklyn neighborhood and experience how food is the engine of our local ecosystem. Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill have a vibrant mix of small, locally-owned, and artisanal food shops unlike almost any other neighborhood in America. We'll visit old school haunts and new culinary entrepreneurs to experience an exciting menu of both traditional flavors and daring dishes. We stop into Italian and Middle Eastern shops that have long been the staple of the neighborhood and explore the growing scene of cafes and restaurants specializing in New American cuisine. While we enjoy their delicacies, we learn about the neighborhood’s rich history and changing character from the local business owners and residents themselves. From artisan cheese and bread shops, Italian pastry stores, coffee roasters, an historic Middle Eastern bakery, and a modern soda fountain, we'll dive deep into the authentic food culture. ALL FOOD TASTINGS INCLUDED!
I am an actor, food blogger, and tour guide who loves to explore the local side of a city. One of my favorite neighborhoods in NYC for food is the Brooklyn area of Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill. Along with my team, I want to share this under-the-radar local neighborhood with others through the food shops that make this one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the city. We've been running other successful AirBnB experiences including Taste History in the Lower East Side and the New York Craft Cocktail Tour.
