After a safety briefing, we'll take a quick ride out of Turner's Creek and raise sail in the Wilmington River. You can sit back and relax or learn how to sail and take control under the guidance of your knowledgeable and friendly captain. While I can't guarantee dolphins, gorgeous sunsets, or new friends, the odds are certainly in our favor. The wind will fill the sails and gently push us along as you get great views of the islands and marshes that make the Lowcountry so beautiful. This is truly a unique experience that will get you off the beaten path and give you a taste of Savannah from a local's perspective!

I'm an engineer by trade, but my passion is sailing. I've lived in Savannah for many years and have been sailing the local waters ever since. My experience ranges from sunset sails to racing and long distance passages. I quickly discovered that there's nothing more relaxing than turning off the motor and letting the wind quietly push you along. I've traveled and sailed all over the world, but found that it's hard to beat a beautiful day on the waters surrounding Savannah. I'm a Coast Guard licensed captain and can't wait to show you the beauty of the Lowcountry from a very unique perspective.
Any local knows a trip to Savannah is incomplete without exploring the water and marshes that surround it. Depending on conditions and crew preference, we can sail out toward the ocean for a unique view of the surrounding islands or head up the ICW towards the city. These are all beautiful places that are only accessible by boat and completely unknown to many visitors. We'll depart from Young's Marina, an easy 15 minute drive from downtown.
