Over the course of 2.5 hours, you'll be guided through the bustling streets of Europe's mecca of graffiti and street art during our insider walking tour in Shoreditch. You'll see and learn about the city's largest concentration of authorized and unauthorized street art and murals created by world-famous artists such as Banksy, Obey Giant, Invader, D*face, as well as other internationally renowned artists Martin Ron, Otto Schade, ROA, Dan Kitchener, Cranio, and Ronzo. The rich history of the area can be felt to this very day, and we will dive into stories of tremendous change and regeneration that make this one of the most sought-after neighbourhoods in the world. Along the way, we will see tons of street art created by local and international top stars of the scene. While walking the streets of London's East End, you'll find out about different types of street art and the stories behind the art. We might be fortunate and also witness one or two artists painting somewhere in the area. By the time the walk is over, you'll know more about London street art than most local residents do.
Serena, Luca, Rahmi
Welcome to our Shoreditch Art Walk founded in 2016. Our passion for both graffiti and street art started over 20 years ago. Ever since we can remember, we were mesmerized by painted walls in public spaces. Serena is an art historian from Italy with deep roots in classical art. She’s a happy art nerd who loves to take you on one of our street art tours through London. Serena is also a big fan of the East End and she can show you where to find the best artisan coffee shops as well. Being born and raised in the capital, Luca is 50% Italian, 50% English and 100% a true Londoner. A graduate in art history, he is very passionate about artistic expression from every form. Join Luca on his tour to experience a day filled with history, culture and a lot of graffiti! (If you are on Instagram, feel free to check us out --> @streetviewlondon)
There will be a coffee break halfway through where our guests will have the chance to rest, use facilities and grab a coffee…
