Gobble-Guzzle will take you 10 km out of the buzzing city centre into a local neghbourhood where our first stop is an indoor food market place. We will stop by and say hello to my favourite stall holder here who stocks the best spices for homecook curries and all. This is a perfect place to stock up on your Asian spices to cook up a storm back home! From here we will head to a restaurant which many KL denizens swear it’s THE place for the best Nasi Lemak, Malaysia’s signature dish. Let your taste buds be the judge as to why this place is hailed as the best in town (ironically, it’s a wee bit out of town). If you wish to sample some beer with a Malaysian twist, our 3rd and final stop may be just the place for you. There is no guarantee what is offered on the taps on the particular day but you can be assured that there is always something interesting to discover! Be it a jasmine ale or a spare ribs herbal soup inspired craft beer!! Please note that transportation from point-to-point is inclusive.
I have been an Airbnb Home Host since 2013 and I thoroughly enjoy sharing with my guests (many of whom are now lifelong friends) the vibrant foodie trail of my city. They have discovered some gem of places which they probably would never have discovered on their own, despite some being repeat visitors to Kuala Lumpur! We will spend an afternoon spice shopping in a wet market, lunch on a yummy Malaysian all-day meal and chill in a cosy craft beer bar exchanging travel stories. “Let every bite, every sip lead us to the soul of a city. Every taste ingrains in our memory.”
A scrumptious serving of Nasi Lemak and a drink of your choice.
A selection of 2 craft beer of your choice from the tap
Grabcar service included from market to restaurant to beer spot.
