I´m co-founder of the Split Wine Tours company and I´m certified WSET sommelier! I live in Kaštela, town near Split, birth place of Crljenak kaštelanski, an old and almost forgotten Croatian grape variety which recently captured the interest of wine - making public. The reason for this was it was discovered that Crljenak and American Zinfandel have the same genetic profile, it was established that the two species are the same. I was the manager and sommelier in the best restaurants and wine bars in Dubrovnik, and I decided to return to my birth place to promote the rich history of Kaštela!
