From humble beginnings both the South Head and Balmain peninsulas have evolved into equally affluent neighbourhoods, yet different in their streetscapes and nature. Travelling in a group of up to 4 people, we'll catch the ferry to the South Head peninsula. The morning features linking waterfront parks, secret beaches, pathways, and even a footbridge. Hear the stories about the people who lived behind the facades. We'll walk to discover some historical places and exclusive real estate while getting gorgeous views of Sydney Harbour. Few hours later we'll be on the ferry back to Circular Quay. From there it is just another dash to Balmain on the inland side of the Harbour Bridge. With a working class maritime heritage, Balmain has been home to several NSW premiers and many creative types. While the morning strolled around some of Sydney majestic contemporary real estate, our Balmain afternoon browses about one of the more eclectic neighbourhoods. We'll walk some delightful streets, step gingerly down a hidden lane of cobbles and cottages, admire plenty of colonial architecture, sample the village food and atmosphere. After the tour, a ferry can return us to Circular Quay.

The South Head peninsula is idyllic with its contemporary and historic houses, extensive coastlines, gentle bays, and walking tracks. It is the probable site of the first European landfall in Sydney Harbour. The Balmain peninsula boasts a hilly landscape and tremendous views back to the city. Colonial sandstone homes/ churches have survived in Balmain's narrow streets packed with original timber cottages - now homes to hipsters & city executives.
