Firstable the experience will start having an ice cream at "The Coppelia" for five peso Cubano, the local currency. Then we’ll go for walk for at least 1 hour in order to learn about the local life visiting some spaces like The Malecon, theaters and parks. Then we will go to a local cafeteria to eat something made it by locals visiting that ones where cubans usually go to eat in a cheaper price. Following that, we will visit Miramar neighborhood to learn how people live and the local places where they buy the foods and go to having fun at night, taking first a public transportation in Vedado. To sum up we will play dominoes with members of my family, this game is known as the most popular in Cuba and represent our popular culture.

Hello guys my name is Nathalie, i am from Havana and i am the manager and one of the tour guides of CubaAhoy agency tour. I really enjoy showing people my city but principally teaching our visitors to live as a cubano through our customs and cultures and the places where cubans usually go. I really enjoy as well, travelling and meet new people. I usually recieve visitors from Coushsurfing page too who are more interested in knowing how is the reality of cubans beyond its purely touristic views. I am very passionate for this activity due to i consider in order to know a country deeply is essential to learn about its custums and culture and talk and share experiences with locals. So this is my purpose and the purpose of living as a "Cubano", show travelers local experiences.
Learn local places where Cubans usually go to eat and have fun but principally learn their customs and cultures visiting the Center of Vedado, where is located the Coppelia, The Malecon and others places which represent the local lifestyle. Having an ice cream, walking around, taking the public transportation and visiting some neighbourhoods like Miramar, Living as a Cubano has the final purpose of showing "reality" to its travelers.
