Once in a life time, we step into a different world. Experience the full moon, on top of a mountain. We will meet in the parking area of Papago Park. Gathering everyone at the entrance, near the sign, I will make sure everyone is prepared for the rocky, short walk, up the mountain. Once we get to the top, we will circle our blankets. You will choose one of several different, small instruments, to play. We raise our hearts, breath, beats and voices, in a respectful celebration, while the sun sets and the full moon rises. In the time I've been doing this, I have seen bats, eagles, hawks and owls, flying around the mountain, at sunset. You will have a chance to take some amazing photos, as well. You can walk down, when you are ready. Make sure to bring a way to light the path, as we will descend after dark. People with balance issues, those who need canes, or walkers and folks who have difficulty climbing more than 5 flights of stairs, would find the hike, up to the top of the rock too taxing. Please request a private experience, or bring along a personal guide, if this experience is something you would like to do.
Instruments included: Bamboo flute. Castanets. Cow bell. Hand drum. Rhythm sticks. Triangle. Woodblock. Wood Shaker
We will be at Hole in the Rock, in Phoenix, with a 360 degree view of Phoenix and the surrounding area, to celebrate the FULL MOON, with music!
年齢制限なく10名まで参加できます。 We will walk up as a group. If you book, please make sure that EVERYONE in your party will be able to get to the top comfortably, unaided. Signing up for this hike, means you take responsibility for your actions and you are liable…
Your best intentions
This is a short, rocky, quarter mile walk, to the top of a huge rock. You must wear hiking shoes and be in fairly good shape, as it is steep and the climb is similar to ten flights of uneven, dusty stairs. Make sure to bring water. If you need a cane, or walker, this climb is too difficult.
