COVID-19 UPDATE. To provide the safest experience we will only be hosting private tours starting the last week in June and through July. Message us for details. You will get a taste of so much more than food! You will get a taste of some interesting history along this walking food tour to historic Germantown. We will start at the Farmers Market with your first tasting of local food. Then we will stroll through the Bicentennial Park which is an extension of the state capitol and an outdoor museum of history and geography. At the carillon of bells, feel free to sing a favorite song or dance to the Tennessee Waltz. Leaving the park, we will cross over into historic Germantown, the first neighborhood in Nashville, where we will take you to 4 other stops for delicious and popular food as you walk along brick sidewalks, past beautiful old trees, modern wall murals and more.
Hi! We have been involved in the tourism and tour business for many years in Nashville leading food tours, city tours and tours at The Grand Ole Opry. We love to travel and believe that eating local cuisine adds to the experience. So joining food tours is something we enjoy. In Nashville we love to discover fun places and new restaurants all over our ever-growing city. Meeting new people from all parts of the USA and the world is a joy! Our passion for history, good food, and sharing those things with new friends makes for a great walking food tour!
You will get enough food for a satisfying meal.
We will go from the Nashville Farmers Market, through the Bicentennial Capitol Park, and into historic Germantown.
Bring comfortable shoes, weather appropriate clothes and a desire for a great time! Also bring cash if you would like to tip the guide.
The tour will last approximately 2.5 hours and you will walk less than 2 miles. The price of the tour includes the tour, food, taxes and fees. But does not include appreciated gratuity!
