Starting at beautiful Milo McIver State Park in Estacada, Chris will guide you down the Clackamas River for a few hours while you experience a few class 2 rapids, enjoy local wildlife and river scenery and learn more about our area. We will provide snacks and a beverage while you boat and necessary safety equipment. Then we will end at Barton Park, back at your car and then head to a local Oregon brewery.
Other things to note
We are an Oregon licensed business/ outfitter. Safety is our highest priority.

In 2006 We took up a new hobby: Whitewater rafting. Being on the river and sharing the river experience with others is our passion! Your master guide, Chris, has over 10 years of commercial white water rafting experience with over 1000 trips guided. If we have more than 5 guests on an experience, one or more of our experienced guides will be present on your trip in addition to Chris. We are a licensed outfitter in the state of Oregon. We are also first aid/CPR certified and Chris received his swift water safety certification from Rescue International Whitewater Training.

The Clackamas River is well known as one of the best places to enjoy outdoor activities within close proximity of the Portland, OR area. We love to share the area with others. We find it amazing that we have such a beautiful outdoor recreation mecca, so close to Oregon's largest city. The river and beer go together! There are many great breweries in Portland- and at the end of our river experience, we will visit one of our favorites.

Are you a first time rafter wanting to get some experience? Are you looking to squeeze a ton of fun into a few hours? Do you want to experience Oregon from the view of a local? If you answered yes to any of these, then this is the trip for you! Chris and Heidi are an amazing couple born and really made all of us feel comfortable and safe. By the end of the trip, everyone in my group mentioned how we felt like we had known Heidi and Chris forever. This is not just a ‘one and done’ experience, I would go back again and again and I’m sure I’d see something different every time!

This was my first time rafting! I was incredibly nervous, but found this to be both relaxing and fun! This experience was planned as a fun date with my boyfriend, who also had never rafted.
In my head, I thought it would be rapids at every turn but instead it was a serene river with moments of riding rapids with a very experienced guide, Chris. If you have anxiety about trying this experience, please push aside and try! I’m so glad I did! Now I can’t wait to take my kids!
