We will learn the basics of Italian fresh pasta, classic dough and colored dough (whit only organic and natural color). We will make Ravioli or tortellini, linguine and spaghetti, and we will learn the different regional formats and also the potato gnocchi. Everything from scratch! To accompany the three different first courses, we will make 3 different sauces such as "Classic meat sauce", "Amatriciana sauce" "Gorgonzola and walnuts" we will choose based on the season sauces with, asparagus or mushrooms or artichokes etc. At the end of the preparation we will make a toast to our work with a glass of Prosecco and sit down to taste the fruit of our work: 3 fresh pasta dishes made with our own hands! Naturally accompanied by a good wine and new friends!
I was born and raised in Sicily where culture and passion for food are part of everyday life. After the Art school, I moved to Florence and I met and appreciated the Tuscan culinary tradition. After a decade of work experience in restaurants, and also a decade teaching Italian language food and culture, I decided to put together the two experiences and in 2010 I founded "Cook Eat Italian" home cooking class experience. My cooking classes are designed just like the ones I would like to find while traveling in other countries: authentic, intimate, educational and fun

We will make our fresh pasta and gnocchi in my family kitchen in Florence. My kitchen is cosy, intimate but also complete with everything we need to prepare our dishes. My kitchen is located in a residential area that can be easily reached both by public transport and by a pleasant walk along the river.
