First we'll spend some time getting familiar with the cameras and describing some of the most important aspects when shooting street photography at night. This includes but it is not limited to: Camera settings, how to predict the outcome of a photo, how to compose your photos using recurring street elements and react to shifts in colors and light. After that we'll go for a tour of my favorite spots in Chinatown. During the tour we'll take photos and we'll continue to analyze and discuss street composition and elements when possible. At the end of the tour, we'll do a short Q &A during which I will also be sharing a short pdf containing some of my tips on editing your photos using Lightroom.
I spent many years focusing on details, studying light and traveling all over the World. Today, with over 20 thousand followers on Instagram, I like to go out at night and show the world all the beauty, the colors and the darkness that New York City has to offer. Every day the sun sets, the city changes, and a new life begins.
Please make sure to bring your own camera/s with batteries. SD cards. No Equipment will be provided. Tripod is Optional.
Chinatown will be the primary location If there is time leftover, we'll also be touring other surrounding neighborhoods like Soho or Nolita.
