We'll explore Milan through the lens of design—discovering hidden courtyards with wonderful design shops and ateliers. We'll see the work of emerging designers mixed with the great masters of international design. When possible, we'll visit private studios and get the chance to talk with the designers face to face. We'll end our time together with a chat in front of a drink or gelato.
I teach history of design and social design in two different universities here in Milan. I'm a journalist, currently writing for Vogue magazine and DDN news. I organize social dinners at my place, bringing people from different countries all over the same table. Mine :) Last but not least, I own a boutique agency together with other 2 partners and we organize design, architectural and fashion tours around Milan since many years. Thanks to all the jobs I do, I have access and the 'secret spots' and I own the keys to open hidden spots, ateliers and showrooms usually closed to public.
Itinerary may vary according to day and time. Usually, this is the itinerary: starting from the Duomo square, we'll move to Brera or Corso Magenta area. We'll travel from the city center's main spots to ones on the edge of town. Please remember to bring a daily ticket of ATM public transport with you!
If you want to set up a date you can't find in my calendar, please contact me and we'll find it together! :)
