This is one of the example for my tour siInce I have tons of tour plan. First of all, we will meet up at "Ichijyoji station" which is on the Eizan line. It takes 30 minutes to go hike up to the "Tanukidanifudoin" from the station. As a local,"Tanukidanisanfudoin" is one of the secret place to take a great photo in Kyoto without being packed. Even though the temple is really similar to "Kiyomizutemple" which is one of the most famous spot in Kyoto, there are only few people to visit the place! There is a convenience store nearby so that you can buy some stuff like a bottle of water or quick meal as this tour requires a little bit hiking up to the mountain. There are 250 steps on the way to the main entrance. We will hang around there around 1 hour for taking a photograph. After that we will head to second destination called "Enkoji". "Enkoji" is a very local temple where you can get a great opportunity to take a photo for a beautiful garden. The place is also not so famous for tourists so you can take a relaxing time to focus on taking a photo. you can seat on the tatami floor to view the beautiful garden. After staying there for another one hour, we will head to the station.
Hi there! I was born in Kyoto ,have been to Australia and Canada for 4 years.Since my father is a local tour guide for more than 10 years and a chief director in Kyoto Sky tourist association ,I have known a lot of secret place that most of tourists don't know yet and only local people visit in Kyoto. As a local residence, I believe Kyoto has still lots of secret place.I would love to guide those people who don't want to be crowded and also photo lovers who always are seeking the opportunity to take a good photo without being packed !Let's explore and share the relaxing time with me!
Tanukidanisanfudoin is believed for lucky charm for safe driving and getting rid of bad luck. The place has lots of raccoon dog statues ,which means older people believe that raccoon dog is the animal which heal illness or disease of human being.Additionally there remain some episode that Miyamoto Musashi who was known for a Japanese swordsman used to live in the temple to have austere training.
