Do you like tasting REALLY delicious food? Do you like FUN? This tour is a brilliant marriage of social interactions, food, wine, and beer. This is not your typical tour - you will laugh, eat, drink, all while enjoying the beautiful uptown "Mojo" district of San Luis Obispo. Join Taste of SLO for a walking tour of five unique destinations created to give you a personal Taste of Mojo SLO. Destinations include:
French Style Rotisserie Meats, Local Produce, International or Local Wines, Fair Trade Chocolate, California Pub Grub and Speciality Cocktails. The tour lasts for about 3 hours, and covers a total of 1.5 miles. This tour is suitable for all ages, non alcoholic and vegetarians welcome. For non alcoholic tour guests, you will enjoy speciality non alcoholic drinks (not just water). You'll stroll down the "Mojo" (Monterey/Johnson) district of Uptown San Luis Obispo, while learning about the local food culture, current economics and fun city facts.

I moved to the sunshine state of mind (San Luis Obispo) from the midwest five years ago. Coming from the arctic tundra, I truly appreciate the charming town of SLO. I enjoy sharing my passion of the local food culture with visitors and playing tour guide. I understand the need for a local's point of view. What to do, what to see, and most importantly, what to EAT? Come join me, and I'll take the guess work out of your vacation (and feed you!).
Occasionally my co-host Victoria will take tours out. She a mom of three and a local yoga instructor.

This was an awesome tour. Angee is the best! She made us feel like we were lifelong friends. We also met a nice couple and the weather was perfect. The food was delicious (I ate everything on my plate ;). Walking to everything made it a nice "family time". We will definitely look her up again on our next trip to SLO. Cheers!

We went on the tour with Victoria and she bonded our group with personal stories and great warmth. We had a great time being immersed in SLO culture. The food was very good, but the experience of meeting the food providers and shop owners made it extra special.

Angee really made this tour special. I learned a lot about the Mojo district, met some great people, had excellent conversations, and really felt like we were getting special VIP treatment we wouldn’t normally have access too. The amazing tour would have been enough for a five-star review, but then Angee herself is such a friendly, inclusive and knowledgeable host that she should look into cloning herself to take over the tourism industry! I would go on the same tour again, it was so fun, but can’t wait until next tome I’m in SLO to enjoy whichever tours Angee is hosting.

Angee's super personable and made everyone feel very welcome. I've been on several food tours and Angee definitely stood out as a host; I was impressed by her ability to connect with all her guests.
