Yoga on the beach is both calming and stress-relieving, while helping to stretch and strengthen the body, also meditating with the sounds of the sea. The emphasis is on building awareness of the breath, the body and the nature. Postures are practiced at a slower pace with attention to alignment and detail. My focus and drive for teaching lies in helping individuals to find their own sustainable practice, which can both support and develop their own life.
I am a certified Yoga teacher with Alliance RYT 282 Hours training, specialised in Ashtanga Vinyasa techniques, and restorative yoga with 5 years teaching experience in Bournemouth UK. Currently I am teaching at Chewton Glen Hotel, Shiva Shakti yoga studio, Meyrick Park Golf Club, Arts University, Bournemouth symphony orchestra, and many others. I was also overseeing the Park Yoga Project for Bournemouth Council in 2017 which saw over 50 people attending every week. With many years of practise and devotion to Ashtanga vinyasa flow, concepts of yogic philosophy, and mindfulness meditation throughout Asia, I bring in the respect for the mystery of life and encourage you all to practise with an open mind. Beginners gentle yoga set by the award-winning Bournemouth beaches! Nestled beneath a magnificent cliff line, the bay enjoys its own micro-climate, some of the warmest sea temperatures in the UK and stunning views of the Isle of Wight and the Purbecks.
