I will expertly guide you up the route which will include mostly stairs and some minor rock and ladder climbing. As we hike we'll stop at various vantage points overlooking Cape Town's inner-city suburbs and learn a bit about them and what they have to offer. Once at the summit we'll settle down for a light picnic of dippers and fruit and simply absorb the spectacular natural beauty all around us. We'll chat about the history of Cape Town, "Josh's coveted recommendations of things to do", South African politics and the incredible biodiversity present on Cape Town's mountains. All-in-all the hike should take 2-3 hour
I'm a space engineer, entrepreneur and part-time model who's been in love with Cape Town since I was a child. As a 7th generation South African, I was raised climbing Cape Town's mountains and exploring it's fantastic scenery. Since then I have been on hundreds of hikes and explored much of South Africa. Combining my favourite parts of Cape Town with my love of meeting new people, I aim to create incredible experiences that leave you with unforgettable memories, long-lasting friendships and a lingering love of Cape Town. On my adventures, you're not just a guest, you're my new friend.

I'll bring along a few extra backpacks. Headlamps will be included on sunset hikes for the descent
There are several routes up Lion's Head which all offer a unique experience. The route we take will depend on the group's abilities and interests. If the group wants to maximize their experience, we can descend via a completely different route.
This activity is weather dependent. If sunny, sunscreen is super important. It can get breezy at the top (especially for sunset hikes) so packing a light jacket is recommended.
