I'm a space engineer, entrepreneur and part-time model who's been in love with Cape Town since I was a child. As a 7th generation South African, I was raised climbing Cape Town's mountains and exploring it's fantastic scenery. Since then I have been on hundreds of hikes and explored much of South Africa. Combining my favourite parts of Cape Town with my love of meeting new people, I aim to create incredible experiences that leave you with unforgettable memories, long-lasting friendships and a lingering love of Cape Town. On my adventures, you're not just a guest, you're my new friend.
We'll be hiking up Table Mountain via the Pipe Track and Kasteelspoort route. The Pipe Track is just that; a route to service the old pipeline that used to supply Hout Bay with water from Cape Town. Kasteelspoort is a relatively easy route that runs in between one of the Twelve Apostles and is where the old cableway was built to haul tools and supplies up the mountain to build the Table Mountain reservoirs. We'll descend via the cable car.
This activity is weather dependent. If sunny, sunscreen is super important. It can get breezy at the top (especially for sunset hikes) so packing a light jacket is recommended.
