This is an exclusive experience for a maximum of six guests featuring access to a site that is not normally open to the public. We will meet at a Central London station and set off on a fascinating tour of this 2,000 year old City that boasts some of the best modern architecture in the world sitting cheek by jowl with beautiful ancient monuments. We will visit some of the City's most iconic (ancient and modern) towers (but not the Tower of London, which you can enjoy without the expense of a private guide as the ticket includes a guided tour) and enjoy stunning rooftop views over the City. Along the way we will discuss the fascinating history of this amazing town and the extraordinary characters who made it. This tour is designed as an interactive experience, so feel free to ask questions or add your own insights and information - communication is a two-way street. Our tour finishes with a unique opportunity to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee at the top of a modern skyscraper that isn't generally open to the public and which features in a James Bond movie.
I am a lawyer, historian and official City of London tour guide. Introducing guests to the splendours and secrets of my hometown is my passion. I try to make my tours a mixture of fun and fact (with some of the facts being funny and some of the fun being factual). With more than 35 years experience of hosting visitors to the City and access to sites that are not generally open or known to the public, I give my guests a true insider's perspective. Please contact me to arrange a private tour that will make your visit to London truly memorable. All of my income from guiding is donated to charity

Tea or coffee high up in a City skyscraper that features in a James Bond movie
Our walk will include well known landmarks such as St Paul's Cathedral, the Gherkin, the Lloyd's Building and the Monument as well as gems of architecture known only to City Insiders. I will take you to extraordinary places that even regular visitors to the City seldom see and invite you to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee atop a City skyscraper that isn't open to the general public. Afterwards, you might want to visit the Tower of London.
