Once we meet, we will first review what you already know about photography and what is your equipment (if you brought any - if not, I will lend you mine!). That will be our starting point on which we will start building your new knowledge and skills. My expertise is portrait photography so that's what we will focus on. We will be walking around Jordaan as it is the absolutely most beautiful area of Amsterdam. Truly photogenic and pleasant as it is a residential district. I will first let you get familiar with the equipment and let you try it out. Slowly, with every passing canal, I will give you extra tips and advice so that you aren't overwhelmed with all the information at once. At the end of the walk (which will take us around 1.5 to 2 hours), I expect you to be familiar with all camera settings such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO and be a master of portrait photography composition. Moreover, I will pass you my tips and tricks on photo editing for beginners. Result: new knowledge and photography skills as well as beautiful portraits from around Amsterdam canals for a memory! Prefer night photography? Book an evening class!
Camera equipment - but please try to bring yours as I have a limited amount :)
I am a photographer with certifications from photography academies in Amsterdam and Paris. I work as a freelancer at StudioRabson and my expertise is portrait photography. I worked together with students from Amsterdam Fashion Institute, Vogue Academie and United POP. During my travels, while living in Poland, the UK, the Netherlands and Singapore, I gained experience photographing different landscapes. You can check out my work at www.studiorabson.com
We will walk around canals in the Jordaan. We will try to stay in the residential area and avoid other tourists as calm environment is better for any learning experience. On the way we will see some historical buildings such as the Noorderkerk.

Max 6 people can book this experience. If you prefer to have a private class, let me know! If the weather will be terrible, we will skip the walk and hide in a cafe to learn over there :)
