We will walk along the foothills of the Montjuic Mountain where you can enjoy the peaceful views and clean air whilst taking some lovely pictures of some of the lesser known sites. Starting in the residential neighborhood of Poble Sec we will make our way up to and through some of Barcelona’s prettiest parks and gardens taking a look at the local nature, learn about the area and see how the 1992 Olympic Games brought it’s influence to this small part of Barcelona. We will proceed to make our way to the top of Montjuic to see some of the best views of the city. This is a lovely experience and certainly recommended if you are looking to escape the tourist crowds, noisy cars and escape from the main city. The idea of this experience is to take in views on foot whilst hiking/walking through some of the prettiest and greenest parts of the city. This is a fantastic opportunity to create some memories as you take pictures along the way, whether you are a keen photographer or just like making the most of your travels, it’s guaranteed you will have some postcard perfect shots by the end.
I’m a nature loving and hiking enthusiast from London living in Barcelona. I’ve been guiding people around the city and around the more rural parts of the city for half a decade. A keen explorer I have travelled all of Spain, most of Europe, the USA and Africa. Barcelona has so much to offer and I look forward to sharing my passion and knowledge regarding the greener city limits.
We’ll start our walk from the residential streets of Poble Sec and take a 10 minute stroll toward our first stop Jardins del Teatre Grec followed by the surrounding parks before making our way to one of the city’s most loveliest view points, we will follow a leafy mountain path alongside the beautiful Mediterranean ocean until we reach the Castell de Montjuic. We will then proceed to make our way downhill toward the Olimpic stadium.
