Your day will start at 8am. You will be picked up and driven to Carrick-a-Rede, the walk, the Giants Causeway and returned home at the end of the experience. You will begin the experience travelling the 40 mile coastal route, an area of outstanding natural beauty, where you will be wowed by the scenery, wildlife and views. We will arrive at the Carrick-a-Rede bridge where, if you are brave enough and the weather permits, you can cross over the bridge 100 feet above sea level to the small island of Carrick-a-Rede. Your host will explain the history of the area, including how it was formed and tell you about the local folk lore along the way. We will stop for lunch, then once you have successfully crossed the bridge (or not), we will drive to the start of our 5 mile walk along the magnificent cliff top path between Dunseverick Castle and the Giants Causeway. Your host will talk about the fauna, flora, wildlife, history and folk lore en route and you will see the beautiful sea views and view at close hand the 60 million year old basalt columns. You will then visit the UNESCO Giants causeway site where you will be shown the area and walked through the footsteps of Giant Finn McCool.
