Guests will meet Liz Duren in a Washington Square Park in the heart of the Historic District and be led on a 90-minute tour of the French Quarter, the infamous South of Broad neighborhood and the Battery. Along the way, we will pause for portrait photography among beautiful backgrounds with cobbled stones, ironwork, window boxes and more. After the tour, Liz will carefully edit your photographs and email a link to a gallery of your images. Each couple chooses one free image from the gallery of portraits and rest are available as digital downloads for 14.95 each. You may also buy them all for a deep discount of $135... most galleries have 20-40 images to choose from. Check out my other two experiences... the Private Portrait Tour ( https://www.airbnb.com/experiences/960674 ) at 8 am to beat the heat or a time of your choosing AND the 30-minute Personal Portrait tour ( https://www.airbnb.com/experiences/960747 ) of one neighborhood in the Historic District with TONS of photos INCLUDED!
Why not get a photoshoot during your walking tour!! (or just want a photo shoot in Charleston, check out my other experience https://www.airbnb.com/experiences/960747 ) I was born in Charleston SC to a family whose ancestors arrived in 1690. I spent my entire life entrenched in the history and majesty of this charming city. After 14 years as an award-winning wedding and portrait photographer, I decided to combine the two things I loved the most, history and portrait photography. I received my Tour Guide License from The City Of Charleston Office of Tourism Management in 2003. My walking tour of Charleston will lead you on a tour of the Historic District with stops along the way for beautiful portrait photography, carefully and thoughtfully edited of YOU.
Liz carefully considers her route through Charleston to find the perfect backgrounds with the perfect lighting for her portrait experience of Charleston. She also passes by her family's ancestral homes and shares personal history and connections to the city. The walk begins in Washington Square Park wanders down Chalmers and Church Streets strolls across the battery and returns to Meeting Street, basically walking in a big square!
We walk about one and half miles at a slow pace. In the summer we dash from shade to shade to stay cool so don't worry about the heat!
