Leave your map behind and follow me, your English showman, who will take you on exploration of the first half of his 20+ top sights tour. You will hear about and possibly meet some the legends of one of Europe’s best-loved cities. This tour is the first half of my 20+ Paris Top Sights. It is only 2.5hrs long rather than the full 5hrs. So many people have asked me to do a smaller walking tours because 5hrs was too much. So I have broken my main tour in to 2 parts. On this part you will: Start at Metro Anvers and will be taken on a lively stroll through old Montmartre where Van Gogh and Pablo Picasso once lived, going upwards to the Sacre-Coeur and the best panoramic view of the City of Light. The show continues through the winding streets where the stories of the past come to life, then down to the famous Moulin Rouge and on to the Majestic Arc de Triomphe and of course, the shoppers paradise; The Champs élysées and the Tour Eiffel. If you decide that you would like to continue with the full top sights tour and do the second half of the tour then just ask.
I'm an English Actor and my co-host is French. I and have been living and working in Paris for over 8 years now. Hugo (Co-host) and I are passionate about—and fascinated by the city's history and its great stories of love, revolution, crime (like who stole the Mona Lisa) Who are the characters that have truly shaped Paris in to what it is today. Using a selection of these great characters I have created a unique tour of the top sights of Paris. My friends and family use me as a human search engine for all things Parisian.
We will take a funicular to see a wonderful city view from high up at the Sacre-Coeur church, and if the queue is short enough we can have a tour inside the sacre-Coeur as well. A trip round old Montmartre where Van Gogh lived, then the Moulin Rouge and other film locations. Also the famous Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elysées, finishing at The Eiffel Tower.
