Embark from North Lake Union on a journey in a beautiful and sturdy rowboat. Relax while I row you on a voyage through a city best seen from the water. Discover the colorful history of the unique geography that shaped the people who call this home and how they in turn reshaped the land. Travel past adorable houseboats and under spectacular bridges to wetlands with eagles, herons, baby ducks and beavers. This special place is only accessible to human powered craft. Enjoy light refreshments, conversation, adventure stories and bird watching. On the return take the opportunity for a rowing lesson or just sit back and enjoy the Emerald City to the sound of oars dipping quietly in the water. Don't see a time that works for you or have a group of up to four please message me!
I've rowed across the Atlantic Ocean twice. Once I got Guinness World Record. Once I capsized in the Bermuda Triangle. Twice I rowed this very boat down the Mississippi River. I sailed an antique schooner down the coast and worked a fishing boat in Alaska. I’m a published author and working on a series of historical adventure-romance novels based in the northwest. I can also blow the conch for mermaids.

From the shore we row to the heart of the city. We will pass under striking bridges and skirt past pretty little house boats and through a dramatic canal to arrive in an unexpected wetlands that only a rowboat, canoe and kayak can explore. We will see birds galore, beaver dens, lily pads and forest and on a sunny day see two massive mountain ranges and a fifteen thousand foot volcano look down on us.
