I truly believe that Warsaw is one of the most unique place on earth, but it's uniquness is not always visible around... It is something that comes with understanding. Therefore I would like to invite you not only to explore Warsaw with me, but also to understand it! We will walk around the Old Town to experience city at it's glory, but also to find examples of the most uniqe post war reconstruction, which is the reason for placing Warsaw on UNESCO Heritage site. Monuments and memorials will let you understand tragic times of WW2, including Jewish ghetto and Warsaw Uprising history. We will check if undestroyed Praga is really so dangerous as people say and you will get to know the most famous Warsaw's inhabitants. And of course, there will be space for unusual spots and Warsaw's hidden gems! :) PS. If you would like to know more about Jewish Warsaw, check my other experience - Understanding Jewish Warsaw - as well!
My name is Przemyslaw (which in old polish dialect means "clever mind" ;-) ) and I always loved history. I also loved my history teacher who, when I was finishing high school told me: "Never study history. It will ruin your life". I listened to her, got a degree in psychology instead and work with children in counseling centre. But true love never ends - and my true love came back to me six years ago, when after post graduate studies about Warsaw's history I became a certified Warsaw guide. From that time I share my love with guests visiting Warsaw. Now it's time to share it with you :-)
Coffee, tea or maybe a taste of traditional Polish vodka? We will figure it out during the break in a nice café, located…
Warsaw's Old Town is much more than Royal Castle, Cathedral and Market Place. It doesn't mean we won't see those, but I would like you to look at them from completely different perspective. Except that I want us to explore less known but interesting parts and locations.
After the booking is made check your Airbnb inbox, you'll get a message with all the information you need to know about Warsaw before arriving ;-). Larger groups, different schedules or special needs? Contact me and we will figure everything out.
