I will start with introducing you to the 20+ rabbits, talking about different breeds, which regions of the world they are from and what use historically they were bred for. I can describe and show you in detail specific characteristics of each breed. You will see mating and courting interactions. I will familiarize you with their feeding and eating habits and we will move on to feeding all the animals. You will be feeding them by hand, holding them if you like, petting, etc. they tend to jump all over laps for their treats. After feeding and interacting I will continue to describe their natural habitats and show how I have tried to mimic that for them. I will continue answering any questions, providing animal therapy, having coffee or tea, or sitting outside watching or playing with the animals.
I have worked with animals my whole life, grew up on horse back in the Wyoming wilderness, I have raised dogs, had turtles, iguanas, ferrets and now rabbits and goats! We have been urban farming for over 5 years with an open roaming cage free rabbitry, ferrets, and a pig on 1 acre. We train, certify and use our rabbits as therapy animals all over King and Snohomish County. We have over 40 clients ranging from Memory Care facilities, retirement centers, assisted living homes, schools and birthday parties! Our yard is home to over 7 breeds of rabbits and an aviary with pigeons, parakeets, etc.
I will provide coffee, tea, etc. and any suggestions I will try to accommodate!
We own a beautiful parklike acre property with an inground pool, gardens, rabbit sanctuary, mini barn, fire pits, benches, tables etc. With bad weather we will light fires outside and then bring rabbits in for sit down holding / therapy time.
we are located across from 205th St. ... up the gravel driveway.... past the duplex ... towards the shop with trailer and boat... house is on the right.
