This afternoon tea workshop experience will show you a glimpse of Hong Kong Art de Vivre at our private event venue in Sheung Wan, the perfect neighbourhood to feel the local charm where East meets West. We will create a one-of-a-kind souvenir which is going to be your instant photo prop during your journey in Hong Kong . It will also be a distinctive art piece that you may take home. For a hearty welcome to our guests, I will serve you a selected Chinese tea with various delicious Hong Kong-style delicacies, revisited and prepared by my passionate mum, who has been a cook book author. We will share stories of the three iconic elements of Hong Kong — The Peak, the Victoria Harbour and the traditional junk boats — and their significances in our culture. Next, we will show you easy-to-follow steps to discover the basic concepts and techniques of Chinese landscape paintings using ink and brushes. You may then compose an imagery of old Hong Kong over a traditional handheld fan according to your own interpretation. Each of you may finish off your masterpiece with our in-house hand-carved seal inscribed with the words ‘Hong Kong’ in a specific Chinese calligraphic style
I was born in Hong Kong and educated in New York. I left French Luxury Brand Marketing to travel around France and obtain a diploma in Gastronomic Culture in Paris. I founded queeneco.com and The Girls Room by Queeneco to promote living out French Art de Vivre anywhere on earth. All of my events provide unique experiences in savouring art of living in a relaxed mode and are never short of gourmet homestyle food, seriously selected and restyled by me. I have been interviewed on TV, newspapers, and magazines for sharing my way of slow-living.
