We will meet at my place and then go to our private Cantina, a reproduction of a real old-fashion traditional Mexican country bar. Then I will take you through a visual explanation of the ancient history of Mezcal and it's traditional production process. You will know about its origen, the plants and varieties it comes from and some of its legends. But don´t you warry I wont let you thirsty, we will mean while start with our Mezcal tasting session, which consists of a the tasting of at least 5 different varieties of delicious Mezcales. I will guide you on how to fully appreciate this incredible drink. When we will finish you will be able to know how to detect a good quality one. Session includes the famous worm-salt and several complementary snacks.

I did my postgrad research on Mexican traditional beverages and from that time onwards I have become a Mezcal lover. I am an enthusiastic fan of this drink and I am always eager to learn more and enjoy it. I will take you through its production processes, vending, brands, tasting and the whole culture that surrounds this incredible drink.
We will have the session in our cozy reproduction of a Mexican Cantina, and through a series of pictures you will see how this type of traditional bars, have evolved in Mexico.
