Imagine floating thru the epic canyons of the Rio Grande on a full day, fully guided, fully equipped trip. The Rio is mostly flat water for a scenic adventure. The river has class I rapids that is perfect for our first timers. Come learn and/or work on your boating skills. The water levels fluctuate and can influence what boats we take: rafts (we can row you down the river or everyone paddles), canoes, or kayaks. Throughout the winter season, the river is usually not more than thigh deep. Riding in a raft with all your favorite people makes for some fun pictures. We can row you down the river in a raft or if you/some/all want to paddle raft that is a great option too. At lower water levels we like to canoe and kayak. The canoes are 2 seaters with the option to ride smaller kids in the middle. The kayaks are single or tandem sit in or sit on top and are totally lots of fun. Weather also can influence what the choice boat would be. We meet up in the morning and then drive down to the river. Included is all gear and dry bags. Please bring your own food and beverages. A cooler to put your lunch in and ice water is provided. Wear shoes you don't mind getting wet.
My twin sister, Erin Little and I have been guiding boats for 19 years. This is what attracted us to the Big Bend region as it is the only place in America that you can be a river guide in the winter. Jimmie, Cassidy, and Jeff also work with us. As guides we are Wilderness First Responder first aid certified and CPR certified. Erin is a Swiftwater Rescue Course Instructor. What makes the Rio Grande exciting is that you have almost 300 miles of river to float with 8 major canyons. Our crew look forward to sharing with you what we love about the Big Bend.
Ice water is provided. Bring all your own lunch, snacks, and beverages. A cooler is provided.
15 passenger van Personal Flotation Device's and dry bags are provided.
If the water is high, we will be rafting through either Santa Elena or Colorado Canyon. If the water is medium, we will be wither rafting or kayaking thru Hot Springs Canyon where we stop and soak in the hot springs and have lunch at the historic district. If the water is low, we will be doing a Santa Elena Canyon boomerang where we paddle upstream, have lunch, and then float back down. There is not much current, it is like paddling on a lake.

The beauty of a small operation is that we are totally flexible as to the meet up time in the morning. Usually between 8-10 am is best. Please let us know what time works best for you.
