Learn to express your adventure through some Travel Sketching while discovering the most colorful city of Mexico, with the most authentic and local tour in town! Meeting at the heart of the Historic City, we will start our drawing tour by discovering the most scenic sections of the Underground passages, stopping at the world famous Callejón del Beso. Submerging head on in the culture, handcrafts and spirit of Guanajuato, we'll will visit the Hidalgo Market, passing the Jardín Reforma, where I will explain every technique, ranging from watercolor and gouache, to charcoal, pencils, and ink, studying tricks of how to draw on the move and express the varying colors we will find! Afterwards, I will show you the hidden streets, colorful facades and unnamed alleys, walking the backstage of famous sites such as the Roque Church, San Fernando, the Baratillo Fountain, the University, Teatro Juarez, the Mexiamora square, and El Potrero alley, stopping at perfect places to tell you the history, legends and curious facts of the city while we draw. At the end, a delicious meal awaits us, tasting typical dishes from the state (like the enchiladas mineras) and talking about our trip ! :)
An interior architect born in Mexico City, I came to live in Guanajuato a few months ago, after studying a master degree in Architectural Design and History in Italy. Along with this, I completed my artistic education through several natural drawing classes in the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving "La Esmeralda", as well as Watercolor courses in the National Museum of Watercolour. I teach university level drawing. I love to make my guests feel like home, teaching urban sketching as a tool to be aware of the beauty in our surroundings and to experiment with new techniques!
