We'll focus on the main galleries of the museum beginning with the Black Spain movement in the 1890's up until the fall of Fascist Spain in the 1970's. We will follow the evolution of Picasso, from his days as a young man copying Toulouse Lautrec in Paris, to his development of Cubism, and finally his masterpiece Guernica. We will really focus on the Spanish perspective to "modern art" and the ways it influenced art globally.
