Music City is so much more than great music! If you haven't ventured outside of the city, consider taking a couple hours to enjoy a guided hike through Percy Warner. Located just 25 minutes from downtown, the experience begins at the entrance to Percy Warner Park, and its impressive stone staircase, known as the Allée. Enjoyed by park visitors for decades, the 300-plus steps climb high above Belle Meade, one of Tennessee's most prestigious neighborhoods, and are one of the most photographed landmarks in the area. The Warner Parks span 3200 acres, and are home to many species of plants, animals and birds. At the top of the Allée, we will snap a few photos, then head into the woods for a 2.5 mile hike through the serene old growth forest. Along the way, we'll be on the lookout for deer, owls, turkeys, and hawks—and will no doubt pass a few furry canines as this trail is pet friendly! (You are welcome to bring your dog along — just give us a heads up in advance!) Start to finish, this activity is about 90 minutes. We'll explore the park from the Belle Meade entry point, which showcases the natural and architectural beauty of this iconic Nashville treasure—it's the perfect setting for some great photos. This 2.5 mile, one hour hike is doable for most fitness levels. The heavily wooded, shaded terrain has some steep inclines / descents. Lush foliage is simply stunning in Autumn! Come out and experience another side of Music City — you'll be glad you did!
