Your cooking class will be held in my home and personal kitchen. Coming in from the stifling Malaysian heat, you will be welcomed with a nice cold glass of lemongrass and ginger tea and an airconditioned kitchen. After a short time of getting to know each other, I will introduce you to the menu and the ingredients of the day. You will have your own station, complete with a gas stove, utensils, and of course, the freshest locally sourced ingredients. It is during this time when you will learn the secrets to the local flavors. Throughout the class, I will give you tips and tricks that you can use in your own kitchen back home. After we have cooked our dishes, we will sit down together in my dining room to eat what we have cooked together as the new friends we are.
I am a Filipina born and raised in the Philippines. for the past 26 years, I have lived both India and Malaysia giving me a unique perspective of Asian cuisine. I have been trained and cooked with some of the best home chefs in the region. I receive so much pleasure in introducing people to the exotic tastes and little-known foods of Asia. Over the past few years, I have been running cooking classes of the meals I have learned to cook both from my many years in Malaysia as well as India and other countries. One of my main goals is to make these local dishes reproducible in my guest's home country – I make it a point to make sure that the meal we cook is easily reproducible and the ingredients either available in their home country or explain a suitable substitution.

You will be coming to my home by the sea and cooking in my personal kitchen. In fact, if you listen closely you will hear the sounds of the surf.
An openness to try new flavors, and a hearty appetite!
No need to bring a pen or pencil to take notes, I will be sending you the receipt after the class. I can work with a couple, families with young children as well as individuals.
