-Introduction will get the blood flowing and joints moving with some light exercises - Next Partner connections and trust exercises while standing might include things like partner pushups or 2 person stretches - From there we might play with any number of partner exercises that involve pressing or lifting another person off the ground in very safe and easy to spot situations. - Once we achieve basic positions we will end with partner massages and restorative techniques. - No experience needed whatsoever, and you will leave with a foundation in how to safely base, fly, spot, and even have some cool special skills under your belt! -Make sure to bring a camera or phone for pictures/videos. we ALWAYS get something amazing done.
I love to help others learn how to build better trust and connection while also getting a fun workout! I have trained and taught 10+ years and like to focus on partner arts like Acro Yoga and Dance Lifts. I've performed these arts at many festivals while showing others how easy and fun for everyone of all ages. I am professionally insured and also employed by UCSD as their Acro Instructor. Lift people not weights is what I always say.
Location is well shaded with great view of Mission Bay. A neighborhood secret and not very crowded, easy to find easy to park with guests. You might get an even better view sitting or standing on someone’s shoulders! This is a place where you will learn to do things you never thought possible. If you have a partner or significant other it’s a great activity to bond or share interests. Or it’s still easy to meet someone new and build the practice.
