"Herbariums" are blooming flowers preserved in glass jars or bottles, which have recently become increasingly popular among Japanese as interior accessories. This workshop will let you create a couple of your own Herbarium bottles, which will be a lovely addition to your space, or a heartfelt gift to your loved one. Make your way to my flower shop in Tokyo to meet me. After greeting, let's get right into the action. The first process is to look through samples of finished products and decide on a general direction you want to take. When you're done with it, choose your favorites from a wide range of high-quality dried and preserved flowers with long-lasting colors. These flowers are all made in Japan, and especially beautiful, and we use high quality preserving oil enabling flower color to last long (6 months to 1 year). Then it's time for you to let your imagination flow free and arrange the bottles as you like. Carefully place the flowers into the bottles before filling them with a preserving liquid. If you want extra oomph, a scent can be added to your Herbariums at additional cost. After that, I'll make some final adjustments and voila... your own Herbarium bottles! Before ending the workshop, let's snap pictures and admire your new masterpieces while enjoying some tea!
