You must be in physical shape to hike up 350 vertical feet of elevation gain. This private (dog-friendly) hike will include soul-lifting views and the cleansing silence that accompanies snow-blanketed forests in the Rocky Mountains. Our experience will start by meeting at a local coffee shop where we'll spend a few minutes getting to know each other while participants can grab a hot beverage and/or a snack before driving to our hike location. We recommend participants arrive at the listing time prepared for cold weather. We suggest snow boots, base layer, snow pants, hoodie or an equivalent warm mid-layer, jacket, gloves, and a hat. Sunglasses or goggles are useful if it is snowing. A day pack usually serves well to make adjustments to clothing if it is too warm or cold. We will adjust our snowshoe route based on skill level & weather conditions to aim to keep the total time to a 2-hour event. Note - This is a snow or shine event and will only be canceled by hosts if we believe conditions feel unsafe. Generally this means strong winds at the time of departure. We have found that the best hikes happen while it is snowing - think winter wonderland!
Justin And Angie
We are among Summit County's adventurers, drawn to the Top of the Rockies in search of the unrivaled adventure/tranquility combination. We have explored this area for a combined fourteen years while embodying a life philosophy which has encouraged us to spend the lion's share of our time investigating every nook of our national forest. We know where to find adventure, and we are happy to share that with our guests over a beautiful snowshoe hike at one of our favorite spots in Summit County.

We'll meet at Abbey's Coffee in Frisco, then head as a group to the chosen trail. We will hike a 2.5 mile loop that passes through beautiful forests of aspen and pine trees as well as a small (frozen) alpine lake before returning to our meeting spot.
18歳以上の方8名まで参加できます。 Guests should be comfortable around dogs as our friendly silver Labrador Hans will be accompanying us. This is also a high alpine environment and guests must assume the risk of encountering wildlife (moose, elk, fox, deer) as well as…
We do not offer refunds for late cancellations as we set aside our personal lives to prepare trail snacks in preparation to ensure your best experience. (foul weather excepted)
