Are you ready to follow me on an unforgettable adventure? Traverse through ancient woodland as you hear the waterfalls roar & rumble on their journey through their rocky path. Feel the chill as you enter the 400ft tunnel... immerse yourself in darkness... lose yourself in mystery... Nothing can prepare you for the feeling of wonder you experience inside the caves & cavern - just don't forget your camera or your friends will never believe you. Step back in time as I teach you about how this incredible landscape was formed through violent volcanic & glacial events millions of years ago. Unearth the long forgotten past & understand how ancient beliefs in gods and spirits brought bloodshed to these lands. Learn of the hardships faced by men, women & children working in the many mills and the mines during the Victorian era and understand how Wordsworth's poetry helped to transform society. This is a stunning circular hike that will leave you breathless at the beauty of nature & marvelling at the Lake District's history.
