Upon arrival, we will go directly to the small vineyard surrounding our winery to spend a lot of time learning about grape growing and the challenges of doing so in a high mountain dessert like the one we live in. Afterwards, I will give you a brief tour of the facilities thoroughly explaining how our fruit processing and winemaking differs from other wineries. You will be able to see first hand our barrel room and the temperature controlled warehouse we use to store our bottled wines before going into the fermentation and conservation area of the winery where you will experience a unique and guided tasting provided by Cristian and/or myself, straight from the tanks! During this process you will be able to clearly taste and learn the different aspects of Malbecs, and Cabernet Sauvignon, grown in different areas as well as getting a taste of a unique grape variety, almost extinct, that Cristian grows with his father Raymond Stanislas Allamand. Should you choose to do so, we can finish the experience with a full tasting of finished bottled wines also guided and explained by one of us.
Cristian, the winemaker and viticulturalist, and I are originally from Mendoza and we are the co-founders of Luminis winery, a unique project to Argentina that makes 100% estate wines from top terroirs in Valle de Uco and Lujan de Cuyo. Cristian has a dual degree in winemaking and Agronomic Engineering. He works vines and makes wines since he was 18 with many vintages outside Argentina (the most notable one being with Vanessa Wong from Peay Vineyards.) I have a MBA from Northeastern University in Boston, and have been selling high caliber and legendary wines in the US since 2001.

You will enjoy the unique experience of tasting wines straight from tanks with the people that own, work, and make the wines from the ground up while they explain the nuances and the resaons for the differentiation of these wines to you.
Our winery is located 25 kms outside the city of Mendoza and while we are secluded, we are very close to many other wineries so we suggest you plan ahead and take advantage of visiting us to visit other places nearby and make the most out of your day. We are happy to make suggestions if you need.
