Arthur Shackleton has been working as a garden designer for most of his life and has worked on a variety of gardens at home & abroad. His botanical knowledge knows no bounds. Carol Booth has a BFA from NCAD and combines cooking and art as a passion all her life. Together we run an inspirational, educational experience to expand your knowledge about gardens, design and eat delicious food.
We are part of the Laois Garden Trail. There are many wonderful gardens not far from us which we can recommend to our visitors if they would like to check them out. The heritage town of Abbeyleix offers little cafes and the world famous Morrisseys Pub - a Victorian establishment which is a delight to visit.
The course is designed to include all levels of experience - it is a highly personalised course with a lot of interaction between the group so everyone learns as the day progresses.
