This is a four mile out and back trail (2 miles each way.) On our summit of CRAGS trail we will enjoy the amazing views, and peaceful serenity that this intermediate hike offers. The truly unique experience features eroded rock outcroppings, and a dome summit with views of Rampart Range, Ute Pass, and Catamount Reservoir. Adorning the top are a population of Whisky Jack Jays that populate the abundant Bristle Cone Pines. Along the way complimentary drone photography will be offered (weather permitting) to document the amazing accomplishment! The peaceful flowing of Four Mile Creek caresses the trail, and is extremely relaxing! This is the perfect hike for visitors of the area, or people newer to Colorado. The four mile hike will take approximately two hours to complete. CRAGS is a dog friendly trail, and many will be encountered along the way. Guests are encouraged to bring their dog along to the summit. Guide will plan to bring his dog, Dutch, but will not at the request of any guest. I am an avid outdoor enthusiast, adventure seeker, and survivalist! I've finished the Chicago Marathon four times, and have summitted The Crags more than a dozen. This has afforded me an intricate knowledge of the trail, and what it will take to get us to the top! Dutch, my Rottweiler Shepherd mix provides friendly company all-the-while packing essential supplies for our hike. CRAGS Trail is considered an intermediate out and back hike that will cover 4 miles. Moderate physical fitness is required for this hike. Guests should be aware of lower levels of oxygen throughout.
