My name is Mandy and I am a third generation resident of this area. In 2017 I started giving tours as a fundraiser to support my local Main Street District. Locals and out of town guests alike have found these tours to be both fun and informative. When I travel outside of Florida, I enjoy taking tours with a local of the area to learn all the history and stories of the town instead of doing the traditional "touristy" things - so I decided to bring that idea home, to Orlando, Winter Park, and central Florida. Now I offer a variety tours covering many locations and interests.
Regional History Center Each guest will receive one admission to the Orange County Regional History Center.
We will stroll through the streets of historic downtown Orlando, where we will see the first railroad station, the oldest building in Orlando, the first African-American owned business in the "white" district, a cathedral built my the same man who built National Cathedral in Washington DC, the City Center, the Orlando Regional History Center, and MORE. You will hear all kinds of stories along the way and learn the hidden history behind this city
Many people think of Orlando as "Disney"...but we are so much more than that. Whether you are an out of town guest or a local come join us to learn about the rich history central Florida has to offer.
