I know of a place we can go that is seldom travelled with a beautiful waterfall. Come experience one of natures most beautiful places. This destination has easy free parking about 15 minutes West of Colorado Springs there is a lake where we can enjoy a swing on a musical swing set and explore a gazebo by a small fishing pond. I will share some of the history of the area and check in with your group. Next we will make an intense 15 minute climb into the mountains to a waterfall and hang up some hammocks to enjoy. I will provide some food and water at the top to refresh. We will spend about 30 minutes lounging above the clouds next to a cool stream and then venture back down into town along the creek. We will check out some art work and cool houses in the area and I will drop you off at a local delicious mountain pub known as The Blue Moose where you can get drinks and burgers if you like. :-)
Avid outdoorsman, owner of many hammocks, hot springs and mineral springs consultant . I am an Eagle Scout and camper. I have been coming to Colorado Springs for 20 years to seek adventure and a new life. I am certified in First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguarding. I always carry a first aid kit, extra water and snacks. To me hosting isn't work and could never be mundane - it's just spending time with friends. I treat others as I would hope to be treated. Come on my tour and you will have a great time!
We'll be in the woods hanging out next to a waterfall above all your cares and troubles. We'll be able to see wildlife like chipmunks, birds, martins, deer, ducks, and raccoon.
I do make salads instead of sandwiches for people with special diet just ask me. Please bring good sturdy shows, no flip flops! I don't allow dogs or other pets on the hike.
