We will meet at the yacht club for either a morning or afternoon excursion. We will introduce ourselves and provide some light refreshments whilst undergoing a short safety briefing and finding out what each person specifically would like to see and do. Once the formalities are out of the way, we will cast off and venture into the atlantic ocean. If the prevailing weather conditions allow, a typical experience will begin with a few hours of sailing between Granger Bay (Greenpoint stadium) and Robin Island. Guests will have the opportunity to steer the boat and learn about other aspects of yachting such as wind direction and sail trim. After a few hours of sailing, the yacht will anchor at one of the safe anchorages along the coastline, such as Clifton beach. Food and beverages will be offered, with plenty of time to swim, paddleboard and take photos. At the end of the experience, the yacht will return the guests to the same yacht club as where the experience had started.
I have sailed competitively and represented my country at various levels before spending a year sailing professionally overseas. I am at home in the ocean and have a love and respect for her. I believe that sailing is an amazing way to connect with nature and one's surroundings from a completely different perspective. My team and I have over 40 years of combined experience sailing in the beautiful waters in and around Cape Town, and we are excited to show you what it's all about.
