During our day, we will be visiting one of the last remaining oyster farms in the area of Mali Ston - a protected species of oysters, growing only here in the entire world. Join us on our boat ride and learn everything about the life of an oyster. How are they grown, farmed and brought to your table in a restaurant. Welcome behind the scenes. During the hot summer days, we will save an hour of our day for some swimming in the Adriatic sea, if you would like to refresh your day a bit. Afterwards, spending some time in the city of Ston will be at your leisure - salt fields and second longest walls/fortifications in the world, after the Great Wall of China are here for you to explore. Small family restaurant in the middle of the town makes it a perfect stop for us to enjoy some local food, taste wines and see how ice cream made of wine tastes like. As our day comes to an end with our drive towards Dubrovnik, you will now know much more about the world famous oysters of Mali Ston.

With my 5th year of work in tourism, I have developed a skillset needed to host people from all over the world here in the region and show them all of the hidden spots. One of the last remaining families growing oysters will host us on their small boat and show us around their farms, find a spot for our light snack and anchor us in. We will then get our oysters directly from the Adriatic, drizzle some lemon over them and enjoy the moment. But are you ready for the biggest surprise of the day? Have you ever had raw mussels?
