The tour starts at the Chavonnes Battery Museum. Visitors are given an overview on the history of Cape Town and how the Harbor was developed. Visitors are given a photo opportunity to pose next to a 9 pounder cannon while wearing a tricorn hat. The journey will then commence from the starting point at the museum and across the newly built swing bridge. Learn about the story of the Penny Ferry and the oldest working harbor in South Africa. The next stop will be outside the V&A Hotel before moving towards Nobel Square and the dry dock. At this point in the tour the story of the harbor and it's people will start to materialize while being shown hidden gems and secrets along the way. The next highlight will be an old prison that has now been converted into a university, an old torture treadmill still exists there with writings along the walls from previous prisoners. This section of the waterfront is a complete secret with hardly any general visitors knowing the existence of this site. You will then be given a unique opportunity to grab a photo in one of the best views in the harbor either with Table mountain or the cape wheel as the backdrop. Relive old cape town stories and anecdotes at this point before discovering the Time Ball Tower and the secret historic tunnel. The tour ends at the V&A Shopping center.
