You'll be immersed in a world of healing sound vibration, designed to help your body relax and prepare for the guided meditation. Seated in a chair or laying on a yoga mat, this class encourages you to let your body completely relax so that you can fully experience the richness of your inner world. Come rest, journey within and activate your "biophotons" - meditate and literally glow! :) I will use my voice, singing bowls and other instruments to help you relax and enter a dream-like state, then gently guide you into the magic inner realms of You, to explore your deepest places of strength, love and gratitude. Come prepared to be completely held and cared for physically, emotionally and spiritually. You will take a journey of inspiration within, as you receive the nourishing vibrations of healing Soundcodes through my voice, Tingsha, Tibetan singing bowls, mbira, and other musical instruments (including some surprises!). After the meditation and sound bath we will have time for tea and quiet conversation or solitude and journalling. You are welcome to wander our local trails to nearby ponds and lakes, or just to spend a little quiet time in the woods.
Lydia is a DAO-THA Soundcode Therapist, and has worked with therapeutic sound for over 20 years. She has studied Nada Yoga in India, and developed and fine-tuned her own sound-based healing modality, Starpoints Returning. As well as her voice, her main healing and musical instrument, she plays the Tibetan singing bowls, Zimbabwean mbira, and many others. She leads women's groups in self-care and empowerment, and her local guided meditations are always growing and creating wonderful human connections. She looks forward to welcoming you to your own inner sound journey!

We will enjoy our meditation in the private healing room/yoga space of my home. This is where Elisabeth Westermann, the German founder of DAO-THA Soundcode Therapy, first taught her methods in the USA, so the room is filled with the echoes of many voices raised in healing song! Surrounded by beautiful ancient pines, ponds and stream, there is a deep sense of peace here - which inspired the name "Sanctuary of Trees."
If parking is full, pull onto the grass on left of the building. There is also space just outside the gate and at the end of the drive. No meditation/visualization skills or experience necessary!
